Undergraduate
I graduated summa cum laude from Marquette University in May 2009 with a bachelor of science in computer science . My undergraduate academic achievements were recognized through numerous awards including the Marquette University Dean’s List (Fall 2005 - Spring 2009) and the Helen Way Klingler College of Arts and Sciences Superior Academic Achievement Award (2006 - 2009). In addition, I was inducted into four honor societies: Alpha Sigma Nu (the honor society of Jesuit colleges and universities), Phi Beta Kappa, Upsilon Pi Epsilon (computer science honor society), and Pi Mu Epsilon (mathematics honor society).

Other Involvement
Outside of coursework, I served as president of Marquette University’s Linux Users Group and vice president of Marquette University’s Student ACM Chapter. The organizations have held multiple successful events including research presentations by faculty, student presentations on the Linux topics of virtual machines, live CDs, Eclipse, makefiles, and GPGPUs, an end of the semester social event, and a LAN party with solely open source games. In addition, I participated in the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) in November 2007 and November 2008.
